Travel

Travel has become a natural part of my journey as an artist. The more I’ve chased sketching and observation as a wildlife artist, the more it’s taken me to some pretty remote destinations – deep into Africa on safaris, under the ocean on dives, or longboard surfing on jungle beaches.

Sometimes that means pulling out my sketchbook in a busy city or at an ancient temple site. Other times it’s about sitting quietly in nature, sketching loosely and letting the lines wander.

Everything I share here is part of that ongoing adventure to better understand wildlife conservation and ecotoursim – living creatively, working independently, and using drawing as a way to stay connected to the natural world.
